New Funfit Class for William Road
We have been running Funfit classes on Saturday mornings at William Road for 16 years and we have often been asked if we could run a weekday class as well.
We have finally been able to make a weekday slot available, and the new Wednesday 4.00 Funfit class started on 1st October.
Funfit is a one-hour combined gymnastics and trampolining class for children in or around the 4 to 8 age bracket.
Half Term Holiday Activities
William Road available for private hire
During school holidays, when the special needs schools and Kindergym are not in for their classes, we offer the available time slots to our members. Sole use of the centre, complete with qualified trampoline coach is available for the same cost that the schools have during term time on contract - £30.75 per hour.
Available times for the remainder for 2008 are shown below under "Dates for your diary"
Maximum number of trampolinists at these sessions is 12.

Oakwood Sports Centre - Half Term Gym Jam
Springfit are running a half term holiday Gym Jam on Thursday 30th October from 5-6:30pm. This will be run in the gym hall at Oakwood Sports Centre and is for extra gymnastic tuition
for those who wish to brush up on some moves, or those that simply want to come along for an extra
fun session! Cost is £6.
If you or someone you know would be interested in coming down for an extra session, you are welcome to turn up on the day. The Gym Jam sessions are also open to non-members aged 4 and above who may wish to try out Springfit gymnastics for the first time.
Half Term Holiday Trampolining Mega Session
The October half term holiday Trampoline Mega Session is on Wednesday 29th October from 12.45 to 2.45
Minimum age for mega sessions is 6, unless already attending trampolining classes, in which case we can take from school age.
The mega session will be held at The Rebound Hall, William Road, Caterham on the Hill.

Kim Christmas - We are very pleased to welcome Kim Christmas as a full time coach and member of the Saturn V team. She is an experienced mainstream and trampolining coach and is coaching at William Road, Springfit and Warlingham as well as doing cover work at other venues.
Congratulations to Holly Whelan and Felicity Gibbs who have both passed their Level 1 General Gymnastics coaching exam.
Recent Competitions
INTER CLUBS GYMNASTICS
Two member clubs of the Saturn V association - Pointers in Caterham and Springfit in Horley - came together on Sunday 13th July to take part in an inter-clubs sports acro and tumbling competition.
With a growing interest in the competitions came a fantastic turnout of parents and friends, keen to see who would succeed this time, out of the diverse range of ages and abilities of gymnasts. They were not disappointed, as each individual impressed everyone present.
With tumble runs from grades 2 to 6, performances were of a very high standard, and showed great improvements across the board, culminating in an impressive back somersault performed on the floor from Elite gymnast Abbie Clifton.
The Sports Acro discipline heralded similarly spectacular results, with inventive and interesting linking moves holding together routines of 10 gymnastic elements and balances. Each pair and trio performing was responsible for creating their own routines, and some themes and dance moves showed great ingenuity, with performers rewarded for their efforts with 16 medals shared between the five categories they entered at.

Family Holidays
Those of you who miss classes due to family holidays are welcome and encouraged to make up the time by attending additional classes at William Road, de Stafford or Oakwood.
Please note however that this facility is only available during school holidays. (During term time all classes are full so this facility would not be viable.)
