Meet Andy Burden
We are delighted to welcome Andy Burden who has joined us as a full time member of the management team. He will be working closely with Paul and Shirley to help ensure the smooth running of the association. Andy is an advanced trampoline coach with many years experience as a performer, competitor and coach. He is also training to be a gymnatics coach.
February Funday and Mega Session
The Half Term Funday is on Thursday 17th February and will be held as before at the Keys Centre in Horley. Children living in the Caterham district will travel by coach from The Rebound Hall in William Road, Caterham on the Hill, leaving at 9.30am. They will return again at 4.30pm. Cost is £15.Children living closer to Horley, can make their own way to the Keys Centre and the cost is reduced to £12. Times are 11.00am to 3.00pm.
The Half Term Trampoline Mega Session is on Wednesday 16th February from 12.45 to 2.45 and will be held at The Rebound Hall, Caterham on the Hill. Cost is £7.20.
Very few places available. Please phone to book before sending your payment.
Easter Trampolining Mega Session
The Easter Trampoline Mega Session is on Wednesday from 12.45 to 2.45 and will be held at The Rebound Hall, Caterham on the Hill. Cost is £7.20.Places are limited. To guarantee a place, please book by sending your payment to Saturn V, 38 Church Road, Warlingham, Surrey. CR6 9NU
IWTV
This is a web based TV sports channel showing coaching video clips for many sports. Saturn V were chosen to produce the first gymnastics and trampolining coaching videos for the UK. It was due to be launched at Christmas but has been delayed. We are told that it should be ready in a few weeks. It is really intended for those with a broadband connection. Forthcoming Competitions
Individual Floor and Acro Saturday 26th February at the Keys Centre, Horley. Starts 2.00pm. This is a friendly and a preparation for competitions against other clubs which are coming up soon. All are welcome to come and watch.
Floor & Vault Saturdy 19th March at Coulsdon High School. Starts 9.00am.
Novices Trampoline Saturday 23rd April at Royal Alexandra & Albert School. Grades 6, 5 and "D" only. Limited to 40 competitors. Further information will be sent by letter or e-mail at the beginning of March.
Sports Acro Sunday 8th May TBC.
Floor & Vault Saturday 11th June TBC at the Keys Centre, Horley. Starts 2.00pm
Trampoline Competition all grades Saturday 9th July at the Keys Centre, Horley. Starts 2.00pm.
Gym competition and Trampoline competition also being planned for November.
Parking in William Road. Please be considerate of our neighbours and make sure you leave plenty of access down the middle of the road for emergency vehicles, lorries etc. If you are parking, rather than just dropping off, please consider leaving your car in Coulsdon Road or better still in Yorke Gate where there are always plenty of parking places.
Lost Propery. There is loads of lost property at William Road, some of which has remained unclaimed for months. It is all hanging up on the pegs in the passage leading to the ladies toilet. Please have a look and see if any of it is yours. Anything left after March will be offered to local charity shops. Also, there are loads of drink flasks at William Road. If you've lost one, ask your coach to retrieve it from the kitchen for you.
Members' satisfaction survey
Congratulations to Andrea Holmes and Susan Burgess who shared the highest score in the members' satisfaction survey with an incredible average score of 9.75 out of 10.
Susan coaches special needs trampolining at William Road, Kindergym pre-school classes at Horley and also does holiday cover for mainstream trampolining at various venues.

Many thanks to all of you who took the time to complete the survey. Your comments are really appreciated and help us to improve the service we and all the coaches provide.
Winner of the Febrary prize draw which is included with the members' satisfaction survey was 5 year old Alexander Hayes. Alexander attends a Trampoline class at Warlingham Secondary School. He wins (for his parents) a 3 course meal for two with a bottle of wine, courtesy of the Horshoe Country Carvery in Warlingham.
The next survey will be e-mailed in April and the prize draw will be held on the 1st May.
Easter Closures
All non school based branches will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Horley will also be closed on Easter Saturday.
Please note that William Road will be open on Easter Saturday.
All clubs running in schools close and reopen in line with the school holidays.
NB. Kindergym classes also run during school term time only.
Remember
to be careful on your garden trampolines. It seems that many of you got trampolines for Christmas, which is great - but do be careful. Never practice anything you have not been taught in your lesson. Always jump in the middle and when you want to get off, stop jumping and walk to the edge; never jump to the edge. Never jump on garden trampolines without a responsible adult present. And no "doubles" (despite the picture in your brochure and the Fruit Shoot advert on the television.)

Members are selling various items of secondhand club clothing. We keep an updated list, so phone or e-mail if you are interested in buying some secondhand kit.
Similarly, if you have grown out of your
leotard or fleece and would like to sell it another member, send us an e-mail with the details and we will add it to the list.

Family Holidays
Those of you who miss classes due to family holidays are welcome and encouraged to make up the time by attending additional classes when you come back. Please note however that this facility is only available during school holidays. (During term time all classes are full so this facility would not be viable.)
